We are Lourdes (Peruvian) and Martin (British), the pretty faces of Lou&Mart Cake with Heart, and we’ve been happily married for a long time now, and our love and passion for baking just keeps growing stronger.

When we lived in Barcelona, we tried the Spanish Basque cheesecake for the first time with my son Jose too, and we fell in love with its delicious flavor.

After traveling to other Spanish cities in recent years, we found and ate there the Basque cheesecake, so when we back to the UK , Martin decided to prepare this cheesecake at home (their own initiative)  and it was so perfect, delicious and good that after that baking, we decided to start our homemade business.

We are proud to hold a 5-star food hygiene rating, reflecting our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our kitchen. Meet Martin Hollywood– Our Head Pastry Chef 

Since childhood, Martin has had a deep passion for cooking and baking, always experimenting with different cuisines, flavours, and desserts. His talent and creativity in the kitchen have made him a master of both sweet and savoury dishes, but his true love lies in crafting the perfect cheesecakes and minicheesecakes. As the head pastry chef of our business, Martin brings years of skill, dedication, and a touch of artistry to every cheesecake we make. His commitment to quality and flavour ensures that every bite is an unforgettable experience. He always continue learning and studying online different courses.🍰✨

 

Meet Lourdes Villalobos– Digital Marketing Specialist & Dessert Enthusiast 

Lourdes holds a Master of Science in Digital Marketing (Distinction) from Liverpool John Moores University and is a bilingual marketing expert with a passion for crafting engaging digital experiences. A lifelong lover of great desserts—something she proudly inherited from her father, José—Lourdes combines her expertise in marketing with her deep appreciation for the art of baking. With a keen eye for strategy and creativity, she ensures that our business reaches dessert lovers everywhere, making every cheesecake not just a treat, but an experience. 🍰✨

 

Now, Lou&Mart Cake with Heart  continue growing selling it to the general public and also as wholesalers to all the UK.
