About Me
My name is Lourdes (Peruvian), the pretty face of Lou&Mart Cake with Heart, and I have always been passionate and a lover of good desserts, something I inherited from my father Jose. When I lived in Barcelona, I tried the Spanish Basque cheesecake for the first time with my son Jose, and we fell in love with its delicious flavor.
After traveling to other Spanish cities in recent years, I found and ate there the Basque cheesecake, so when we back to the UK with my husband, we decided to prepare this cheesecake at home and it was so delicious and good that I decided to start my own business.
I always found my passion in baking sweet desserts. Now, we continue growing selling it to the general public and also as wholesalers to all the UK. We are always creating new flavors of the Spanish cheesecake for everyone’s taste and I’m very proud to say that everyone falls in love with our cheesecake that it’s unique, homemade and fresh.
